I am running a fairly small database in MySQL that stores publication details for a publishers web site. The database consists of 1 large table linked to 3 very small tables (category, binding, publisher name).
Everything works fine on the website. To edit the data I am using MS Access as the front end for the client.
This is however very slow...
Pulling all the info into a table is very slow, and viewing the data record by record in a form is very slow.
Are there any obvious adjustments that should be made to improve the speed in such a connection or is this a common characteristic?
Cheers for your help
This is not the best way for transfering data...
Maybe there is a faster query?
Take a look at this great thread (http://forums.devshed.com/t18411/s.html&highlight=access+mysql)
